The Format for the MSL
To Enter
A registration form must be filled out to confirm entry and payment.
Membership Fees
The fees will consist of £30 entry fee and you must pay for your own games (i.e. 4 games each).
A £10 Deposit can be paid but you must pay rest by 1st January 2010 otherwise unfortunately you will be expelled from the league and your entry to next season will be reviewed at the AGM.
Once the registration pack (fixtures etc) has been issued an admin fee of £5 will be charged for replacement pack.
It is the responsibility of the player to ensure a current contact number logged with admin.
All Members Fees are non-refundable
League Format
The league is played in two divisions over 18 Weeks. The top 8 players from each division shall be entered to the last 16 knock-out stage. The knockout stages shall be drawn randomly and the committee will decide where each venue that each match will be played on.
No money will be given out to players unless they turn up to Presentation Night.
Match rules are the same as Tuesday rules.
All matches are to be played in sportsman like.
All though we dont play 60 seconds rule, but if someone is taking a lot of time on their shots you are allowed to openly suggest a time limit.
If a player is reported to MSL of the time limit rule then the player will have this rule enforced against them for the remainder of matches.
(The rule is hoped that players will play in the spirit of the game and avoid delays etc)
Referee your own matches.
Lag for the first break then take it in turn.
Points
1 point per frame won
1 extra point for a draw for both players
2 extra points for a win

Arranging Matches
Both players have equal responsibility to arrange matches
Players will have there sheets and can play games when they can and please but there will be a dead line date and if players have not played there games those players will score 0 points.
Both Players have to agree on a venue however if a venue cannot be decided then the committee will decide the venue.
The Venues available to play on are:-
o Griffin
o Mercia (when it re-opens)
o Farmers
o New Inn
o Railway
o White Lion (Hope)
o Cross Foxes
o Drovers
Withdrawal from the league
Players that may withdraw from the League anytime through the season all points will be taken away from all players that have played that player.
Byes will be put in place for the players withdrawn from the league.
Any Problems please contact any committee member and an investigation will take place
